Your sign may not be what you think
Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac — the actual positions of the constellations in the sky right now. Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, which is anchored to the seasons and has slowly drifted from the stars over the last 2,000 years.
The gap is about 24°. So if you're a Western Aries, you're probably a Vedic Pisces. Your moon and rising sign may shift too. This is normal, expected, and the whole reason we use the Lahiri ayanamsa — the Indian astronomical correction that puts the chart back in line with the night sky.
Don't panic if your sign changes. It's the same you, read from a different starting line.
